Tell us a little about GreenClark Law.

GreenClark Law is a boutique litigation firm that practices primarily in two areas: (1) plaintiffs’ civil litigation (i.e., bringing lawsuits against careless, reckless, or evil wrongdoers) and (2) federal criminal defense (i.e., defending good people accused by the federal government of misconduct).

What led you to start GreenClark?

We started GreenClark because we recognized a gap in the legal market for a law firm that truly prioritizes client advocacy over quick resolutions. Also, we had separate law practices and after working some cases together, we started living that age-old proverb—iron sharpens iron, one person sharpens another.

What sets your business apart from your competitors?

What sets us apart is our commitment to deep, investigative work. We don’t just scratch the surface; we dig deep into every case, uncovering critical evidence and building strong, defensible arguments. Our approach is methodical and client-focused, ensuring that we leave no stone unturned. This dedication to thoroughness often leads to more favorable outcomes for our clients, and it’s something that many larger, volume-driven firms simply can’t match.

What is something you wish you’d known when you were just starting your business?

When we started GreenClark, we wish we had known just how time-consuming the administrative side of running a law practice can be! While it’s a necessary part of any business, it’s not where our passion lies. We’d much rather spend our time brainstorming creative legal arguments and strategies for our clients than managing paperwork and administrative tasks. To stay lean and efficient, we’ve embraced technology tools that streamline our operations, allowing us to minimize the time spent on administrative work and focus on delivering top-notch legal representation.

How do you navigate your work-life balance?

Navigating work-life balance in the legal field is challenging, but we believe it’s essential to our well-being and effectiveness as attorneys. We prioritize clear communication within our team, ensuring that workloads are manageable and that everyone has the time they need to recharge. We also emphasize the importance of setting boundaries—both for ourselves and our clients—so that we can give our best to every case without sacrificing our personal lives.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of our job is seeing the impact we can make in our clients’ lives. Knowing that our work helps individuals and families navigate some of the most challenging times they’ve ever faced is incredibly fulfilling. There’s nothing quite like the moment when a client expresses their gratitude for our support and dedication, and we know that we’ve made a real difference.

How has being a part of the Flex at the Gild community affected you and your business?

We love it here! Being part of the Flex at the Gild community has been a fantastic experience for us. The collaborative environment and the opportunity to connect with other professionals in the building have helped us expand our network and build meaningful relationships. It’s also been inspiring to be surrounded by other businesses that share our commitment to excellence and innovation.

If you had a friend in town and you could take them to one of your favorite restaurants or spots in your community, where would you take them?

If we had a friend in town, we’d take them to play pickleball and grab a bite at the Sandy Pickle right near the office. It’s a fun and energetic way to spend time together, and the community atmosphere there is fantastic. Plus, it’s a great way to unwind and enjoy some friendly competition while staying active.

We’re proud to have GreenClark Law as part of our community and look forward to seeing their continued success. Whether in the courtroom, on the pickleball court, or here in the office, GreenClark Law is consistently making a positive impact. Visit greenclark.law to learn more and get in touch with their team!
